    Unhappy Setup without Display

Hopefully someone can help, I cut the cable got cut to my display, trapped in a door, i tried to solder it together and i just get a jumbled mess on the screen, it was on its last legs anyway, some of the buttons didnt work before this. It died about 6 months ago and i havent got round to setting everything back up, anyway I now need to set this up again but ive just had a look at a replacement screen here in australia and I cant believe my eyes, they're coming in at 360 AUD

Hopefully one of you can tell me a way to setup without a screen connected? I work in IT so if its doable, even if difficult i would like to give it a go, i dont even look at the screen since apex fusion is around.

    Thanks

Click the Neptune Link menu at the top of the forum page. Click FAQs. Then choose one of the How to access the Classic Dashboard... FAQs either for Windows or Mac as applicable.

Only certain function cannot set without display on apex classic.

For example: boot loader setup, generate apex fusion token,...

Are you sure of correct welding-cable corrispondence?

This is not correct; a token for an Apex Classic can also be obtained from APEX Fusion status tile on the Classic Dashboard

I got it working with your help thanks, now i have another question, really the only thing i use it for currently is 2 x Ph probes (im intending to expand on that soon)

The problem is the used to work, no since the system has been off for 6 months im getting weird readings. on prob says 12ph, the other says 2ph, weird thing is if i swap them over they have the same reading, is my head unit dead?

There is some rust on one of the v3 ports, the light is on that port with nothing plugged in. Do you think the head unit is also fried?

The lights on variable port are ON if the command is On or active. Nothing related to a cable connected or not. If you set the variable output manually off, the light will be off.

if the ph probe are dried, or in air for a time, I think are broken and must to be replaced.

Check if all probes are correct set into module/input setup. Try to calibrate them.
