    PM1 problem

What would cause my PM1 module hooked up to my Apex 2016 to show a status of disconnected? I just upgraded from a junior and used this module for ph and a second temp. Now I’d like to just use it as a second temp. The light on the pm1 is green.

Check the modules list - is there a second PM1 listed?

The solid green LED means it is communicating with the Apex.
Please do not send me PMs with technical questions or requesting assistance - use the forums for Apex help. PM me ONLY if the matter is of a private or personal nature. Thanks.

Could be a firmware problem/bug too. Try updating that in the modules page and see if it takes.

No luck. There’s no second pm1 listed. I tried to update it said successful but I still have the same error. I also tried different ports, a different cable, deleting and re adding the module.

It’s showing a tile for a ph probe even though there isn’t one hooked up. I have a temp probe plugged in but it does not show a tile for that.

Try deleting it and leaving it unplugged for a bit. Then try a different aquabus port and/or different aquabus cable to see if it will show in the modules list.

Temp probe randomly showed up. Still showing the same error on the module list though. I’ll leave it for now and see what happens. Definitely strange behavior.

If you are still getting a tile for a non-existent pH probe, you might try going to the Inputs page, looking for that probe, and disabling it. And make sure that the new temp probe is enabled. And other probes that you're not using are all disabled.
