    Re-connect after a power outage

Hi, I am just wondering if there is a work around for this issue. Anytime I experience a power outage at my home (last weeks No'reaster) for example- I receive the heartbeat disconnect messages as expected. However, once power is restored, the apex will not reconnect to the network unless I reboot it manually. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

That isn't normally a problem for 2016 apex since it's supposed to retry unlike the classic that only tries during boot. You could try setting a static ip or reserve a static route in your router and see if that helps.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

Does your Apex switch IPs when this happens? If so, a static or reserved IP may help.

    Thanks Zombie and Nicholb.....

My Apex is the new model purchased in 2017. I have mine setup to join my apple wifi network. I am not sure of the IP issue and will investigate. Thank you for your help.

My apex lost power today. When it came back on it will not connect to Fusion. I have it hardwired but I can only see a green light at the ethernet port the cable is plugged into. The orange light is not lit. The light on the Apex is Solid Green and the lights on the EB832's it is blinking orange. I did do a hard reset on the Apex. I unplugged the ethernet cable and looked for a wifi signal from the apex and there was none. I went to apex.local to try to log in and it won't connect to it.

If you mean that the Neptune logo status LED panel on the Apex is stuck solid green then contact Neptune tech support

I unplug the router, modem and the apex, wait 5 min then plug all back in. Now it is working again. I had to do this a couple of times before it started working. Thank you for the quick reply.
