Can two apex controllers use the same WXM module?

I purchased a second Apex system for the frag tank I'm setting up in my basement but found the MP40's on the downstairs tank can be controlled by the WXM module which is upstairs. The range is that good!

So the question I have is - Can I also hook my second Apex controller to the same upstairs WXM module and have both controllers use the WXM module? It has two aquabus ports so I'm thinking there is a chance this could work. Does anyone know the answer?

No, only one Apex can control a module.

Question, why did you get a second Apex? You could have just got the powerstrips and modules, run an aquabus cable, and run both tanks off the same Apex.

Because I was able to buy a use "gold package" system cheaper than buying a new EB8, PM1 and probes. I could trade the second controller for a PM1 and achieve what you suggest.

Valid reason. Picking up a used system cheap is always good. You'll also have the separation of one system can't affect the other. So with this setup you can just run the 2nd tank's MP40 off the 1st Apex's WMX. Downside is you would not be able to trigger things like feed modes from the 2nd Apex.
