1LINK module says old, even after a seemingly “successful” update on both my my Apex and work Apex.
Ive tried updating multiple times, I have not used the 24v ports but the 1LINK ports seem to work fine.
Any suggestions?

Nobody?
I came across a newer (Grey) 1Link, pluged it in, and updated it just fine. Deleted it, hooked up the “Old” 1Link, “a module is out of date”.... updated and.... nothing. Still out of date.
Sounds like to should start a ticket. Looks like a problem with that 1-link.

Yeah... I was hoping to learn some new trick in local to force a update or something. I wish I knew what the firmware updates do. That eats at me. I look at the little exclamation mark and go “what am I missing? What new powers will this update grant me over my aquarium?” But alas, it is not meant to be.
There's a small eprom in modules. The flash rewrites code to that memory. I'm not sure if the the update process wipes the eprom 1st or not, but its supposed to write the update to it, which I believe is a full rewrite. Maybe someone with more knowledge of the process can shed some light on that.
What we do know is that eprom is not taking the flash. Starting a ticket is your best option atm.
