    Probe placement??

    As you can see in the image my overflow is on the far left side of my tank and there is a cabinet covering it. My plan is to mount the apex on that back wall. Since its close and convenient to the apex unit can I mount my probes and holder in the overflow box or is that too much flow. I figured this might be a good spot because the water has already gone through the aquarium after the heater and dosing etc in the sump.

    Or is it better to wire the probes down to the sump.

    sorry about the bottom 2 pictures i couldnt figure out how to delete them afterward. The top pic is all that matters.

    The most important thing is that it is in an area that doesn't have a lot of bubbles. If that is true for that location, the overflow is fine.

    You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.
