    COR 20

Hi - I am in the process of designing my sump for a 180 gallon. Do you recommend plumbing the COR 20 internal or external. Also, would it be ok to run the output with 1.25 pvc to the manifold and then split to 2 0.75 returns back to the tank? Only looking at about 4-5 foot head pressure.
    Thanks

That should be fine. You will probably need to even turn it down a bit.

External you will probably run into problems finding a BSPP adapter for the input of the COR. Both models come with a 1.25" BSPP thread/slip union for the output. Apex has stated previously that while the COR can be ran external as well as internal they envisioned its primary placement as being internal. Hence no included union for the intake.

My COR runs my closed loop system. Output is 1.5" rigid PVC up approximately 3' and flows into this manifold which has 4 1" outlets. I have it reduced down to .75" with 4 returns into my tank.
