    strange behavior for local login

It seems that when not connected to Fusion, I'm not able to login local. As soon as the internet is available and Fusion reconnects, I can then login local.

What am I missing? This is bizarre and certainly not helpful.

Are you using your Apex Fusion username/password? That does work for login to Apex Local as long as the Apex is connected to Fusion. But there’s also a Local username & password. They are admin / 1234 by default.
Please do not send me PMs with technical questions or requesting assistance - use the forums for Apex help. PM me ONLY if the matter is of a private or personal nature. Thanks.

That's what is strange. The internet is down and I am trying to logon using the local admin account which I renamed and assigned a new password. Just doesn't work unless Fusion is available. Kind of counter-productive.

    Try the default.

Nope. Tried it for grins but I know the account and password BECAUSE I can logon while the Apex 2016 is connected to Fusion. But apparently, not when it isn't. This is so bizarre I can only assume something else is goin on. I'll just wait until I lose internet connectivity and see if the behavior returns.

Possibly some weird setting in your router. I would open that up and see if anything pops out at you.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.
