    Disable WiFi Hot Spot

I have disabled WiFi in my Fusion dashboard, but the Apex Setup hotspot continues to show up in my network list, and is causing problems.

I have successfully connected the Apex via cable to my network. Is there any way to make the Apex Setup stop showing up in my list of local networks?

    Thanks

    Restart the Apex.

Thanks, @RussM. For anyone who finds this thread and doesn't know how to reboot the Apex, I had to push a paper-clip into the hole on the Apex base unit for 1 second to get it to reboot. After that, I had to restart WiFi on my computer as well. Not sure if it would have eventually gone away without restarting wifi on the computer, but it was a quick simple fix. Faster than it took to type this! ;-)

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I’m running into the same issue... My 2016 Apex is hardwired to my home network through an ethernet cable. I want to get rid of “Apex Setup” as a WiFi hotspot on my devices.

So I go onto Fusion and “disable” WiFi. When I do the pinhole reset on my head unit, the “Apex Setup” WiFi hotspot is still on the list of available networks on my iPhone and iPad. However what’s weird is, after I do the reset on the head unit, I notice the WiFi is “enabled” on Fusion again.

    Any suggestions?

    Same issue as OP

Apex setup keeps coming up when I search for wifi networks. Wifi is disabled on the Apex and have rebooted it many times. I am running the newer silver apex and have thge latest firmware. Any ideas would be appreciated on how to get rid of this.
    Thanks,
    Don
P.S. Also sorry to dig up an old thread

Did you click the Update button (the orange cloud) after disabling WiFi?
