    Red Sea max 500 which cor

    Hi guys as above what size cor do you think would be best

    The COR 15 assuming 3/4 hard plumbing, no more than 3 90s, no more than 4 unions, and moving from the sump to the tank will net between 700-800 gph. That is above the reccomended flow for your tank of 405-675 gph. If you don't intend to tee off manifolds for reactors, A COR 15 is sufficient. Otherwise it might be worthwhile to go for the COR 20. If you are coming froom a basement sump you will need a COR 20.

    You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.
