Question Programing for 4 Radion XR15 Freshwater G4 Pro's in APEX 2016 WXM Module w/ Left to Rigth Delayed StartUp

This is new for me!! I'm new to the forum and find that it is most helpful and the involved parties dedicated to helping us newbies. I have tried working withNeptune Support and EcoTech Support on getting them to work together so that this freshwater G4 fixture, like the saltwater G4 Pro fixture, has the correct 5 color sliders (I don't care if there are 6 or 8 sliders, just so the sliders properly represent the 5 colors and color temperatures of the XR15 and one can properly use the Basic and Advanced Programing of the Radion XM outlet).

I'm starting up my 300 Gal Freshwater Discus Tank and am trying to Program my 4 Radion XM15 Freshwater G4 Pro Light Fixtures similar to what RussM (the “MasterControl Freak”) has done and published (thank you RussM for the HOW TO GUIDES, incite and information) with the addition of sequencing the SunUp, MidDay and SunDown times of each the 4 fixtures so they mimic the east to west movement of the sun across the top of the tank.

I could use all of your help and incite on the following:

    • Acquiring the EcoTech Color Temperature andIntensity settings for this fixture’s 5 LED’s (R, G, B, CW & WM) for 5K,7K, 10K, 12K, 14K, 18K and 20K Temperatures.

    • A review and comments to the Programs(thanks to RussM and many others) I have set up and would be using for each ofthe 4 fixtures. The current preliminary Program coding (disregard the Intensity settings – still working on those) I have put together is as follows:

My APEX Controller AOS Version is:
    5.03_2C18

    My WXM configuration is:
    SoftwareVersion: 13 (OK)
    Rev 1.15, RF Rev 1.2 (1,0,0,0),(1,1,1),(250,0,0)
    Rad_13_17_L - Rev 2.2.15 – OK

Since the Profiles and Programing content exceeds the size limit of a single thread, I will send those separately in follow up treads.

Yes it did, with a few minor adjustments. My lights come on about 45 minutes before sunup in a delayed left (east) to right (west) sequence, and increase and decrease in intensity throughout the day with a 45 minute twilight setting after sundown. The are also tied to my Neptune Moon Lights, and follow the moon cycles. Very neat to watch throughout the day and night.

Tok some time to make it work, but I am very happy with the results. Just dissatisfied that Neptune and Radion wont work together on this fresh water light (like they did on the salt water models) to make this work much easier through the APEX light programs.

Glad to hear it's working. I am going to pull the trigger then.

As to Ecotech and Neptune not working together. That has nothing to do with it, as you said the oights are controllable as is the warm white channel. This falls 100% on Neptune not wanting to implement the support.

They said as much as well, on my thread they closed. This company's focus is salt water only, if you can find use for FW cool, but they will not help with that.

Put in some requests to support and the feature request thread. It sounds very possible that Neptune could add some sort of checkbox for FW that enables the WW channel.

    Hey RRR

Are you able to post here your final programming for your profiles, virtual outlets and Radions? I was going to try to mimic what you've done with your setup on my tank. I also have been struggling getting my XR15FW G4's to work good for me.

Looks like you got those intensities setup. I envy this setup!! Is there anyway you could send me the final settings?

I have a 210g+40g sump that's almost full Dutch with 4 x XR15FW gen 4 pro's. I've just now got it up and running decent, still tweaking dosing and the little things, planning stocking soon.
