Where would I find the ingredients of the calibration solutions, specifically the pH 7, pH 10, and Salinity 53,000? I upgraded from Apex Classic to the new Apex and accidently splashed a tablespoon or so 0f calibration fluid into my tank. All 3 calibration fluids (opened) were resting in an empty 1000 ml plastic beaker, so I don't know which solution entered the tank. 3 days after this event my crabs, snails, shrimp, royal gamma, and goby are dead. I noticed my salinity started rising rapidly on Sunday evening and I can't figure out why. I administer Mg, Ca, and ALK, ATO, and 10% water changes thru DOS pumps. This has been working like clock work without problem for 1/2 year or so. So this is all a bit of a mystery to me at the moment. Wondered if any of the calibration fluids poisoned my fish or somehow catalyzed some salts differently? Oddly enough my corals seem to be fine. I increased my water change to 10% of 24 hours instead of 7 days and changed 10,000 ml with ro/di over a day to get my salinity back in line.
