    Doser Tubing

    Hi.

Can an anyone recommend tubing for the dosing? I’ve been using simple air line for some time, but there’s got to be something better. Can anyone make a suggestion?

    Thanks in advance!

Ideally you want metric 6mm OD, 4mm ID. Standard airline is about 5mm ID so the wall thickness is less and makes it harder to compress on the fitting. Standard US 1/4" OD can work, but you have to really crank down the nut to keep it from getting air in the lines. Semi rigid (like RO tubing but a tad softer) is better if you are doing long runs, but you need to heat the tip with a heat gun, lighter a few inches away, or boiling water to get it to actually seat.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.
