    Flow meter/meters on chiller

I'm going to be plumbing my chiller in and the model I got is 1/6 hp calling for 185 - 500 GPH. I'll be running it of my manifold and regulating with a gate valve. it will be returning into a 40 gallon frag tank and I'm looking to push around 325 to 350 GPH. Will this set up work.
I know I should buy a 1 inch but I have these and would prefer to put them to use.

I'm not envisioning where the chiller fits in the picture. Mind drawing a picture?

Here's a picture of the room... the red is where it will be plumbed. And a crude drawing I did on my phone....

The chiller will sit on the floor between the sump table and the 40 gallon stand then return into the 40

The 40 then drains back to filter sock main return chamber of the sump

Sorry for the fragmented thoughts... but, I'm thinking by putting the gate valve right at the return at the tank it will keep the pressure even straight back to the manifold that way it will in a way equalize flow/pressure through the 2 meters.. maybe lol

I'm not quite grasping why you are doing that little bypass loop with the second flow sensor off of those two tees.

The fs50 is rated for 150gph. I'm trying to measure 2 times that amount.

Should I just use the one and guesstimate the flow from there?

That's not gonna work then. The flow through the loop section will not balance with the straighter section and you will max out the straight sensor before you hit your target flow. You're much better off buying another 1" flow sensor and selling one or both of the 1/2" to try and recoup some of the costs.
