    PM1 second temp probe issue

So I bought a biocube 32 as a second tank. It has upgraded LED lights and tends to run a little hot. I want to be able to control the fans via my Apex that is on my main tank. I bought a PM1 and a temp sensor but when I plugged them into my EB8 the second temp did not come up in Fusion.

Went to the display and set-up the PM1 & updated it.

I looked online and the PM1 instructions don't mention the temp probe just the PH & ORP.
In fusion I had a new ORP measurement come up, but no temp.

What do I do to get it to read the second temp?

    Thanks

Go to the Inputs page in Fusion. Here you will find all the active and inactive probes that the Apex knows about. Those that are active have a checkmark in the Power Symbol column. Find the PM1 temp probe, click on it, and then use the menu to select Probe Enabled at the upper right. Update the Apex and the temp probe tile should be there. This is also how you remove any probe tiles that you're no longer using.

So I can't locate inputs. I did a search and I don't see the modules button either. Where can I find the inputs page?

If you are still using an Apex Lite as your profile here indicates, then you must use the Classic Dashboard (not APEX Fusion) to check that the temperature port is enabled. Go to Configuration->Probe/Input Setup.
Please do not send me PMs with technical questions or requesting assistance - use the forums for Apex help. PM me ONLY if the matter is of a private or personal nature. Thanks.

The fans won't help much. I have an upgraded biocube and the fans only really cool the lighting not the tank. What I did was drill out some openings in the flip up area in the back and mounted some 80 or 120mm (I forget which off the top of my head) computer fans and connected those into the 12V header. Those provide noticeable cooling.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

Yeah, I bought it with the upgraded lights & they did exactly what you are saying. I have 2 80mm fans cut & mounted into the top.

    Thanks!!!
