10v red dragon controler and apex

Hello,i plugged my pump dragon mini 3 mini speedy 50w with the exclusive royal 10v controller.
I plugged it on the port speed dimming 10v of the apex.

but when I plug it in the controller displays 50w (maximum).
I can not settle it. Thanks for your help

yes I uploaded it and chose the automatic mode.

Then chances are it's a wiring issue or a problem with the royal controller. If you post detailed pictures of the setup and model numbers of the parts, we may be able to see if there is a setup problem.

it seems a R.E. 10V controller problem. Write to the guys of Royal, they will respond very quickly.
The Variabile output port is running (LEDs are on) but I think is a problem of link between RE pump inverter and their interface.

    Hi all,

I’m having a heck of a time with my RD 3 mini 50W skimmer pump and controller as well. It seems to be connected to Apex because I loose control of the RD3 via the RD3 controller - and the light on the interface adapter glows red (connected, but not receiving voltage...) - but I cant get it to respond to Apex commands. Is there some step by step to get this thing connected? Thanks so much for the help.

Ok, but are you sure of the Variable Speed Port? Each connector has 2 different port: 1-2 and 3-4. Try to program one or the other...

Yes I tried all the varspd switches. Put them all on auto and programmed constant speed run. Copied them to all the others. RD3 controller just sits at 0 with a period (0.)

I wouuld get in touch with red dragon support and make sure you have the correct cable. Their documentation is total crap, but it does note that there are three different types of cables to connect to a controller and you might not have the correct one.

    Hi,

Had the same problem. You should try to decrease the %.

    I have RD 3 Mini 50W and when I put 15% power, pump runs 20W ... at 50% power, pump runs 50W.

    Regards,
    Lilian
