Jebao RW 8 program not working

    Good evening guys,
Im trying to program a night wave where both powerheads stay on at a low speed. My profile seems to work for a couple of minutes but then the powerheads shut off. All my other profiles work fine.

That profile is not valid. You have 0 off time. And setting a pump profile to the same min/max intensity is not the right way to get a constant intensity. To get a constant intensity, you just specify the % desired in the program statement, like If Time xx:xx to yy:ya Then 20

    No profile needed.

I am not familiar with those pumps, but many variable speed pumps have a minimum operating speed. Those pumps might not work consistently at 20%. You might need to use a higher speed.
Please do not send me PMs with technical questions or requesting assistance - use the forums for Apex help. PM me ONLY if the matter is of a private or personal nature. Thanks.

Ok so if I use the statement If Time 22:00 to 09:30 Then 20 So the 20 would be the percentage of speed is going to run? I don’t need anything after the 20?

Thanks for the help I’m going to give it a try

I have RW pumps and the minimum consistent speed to keep them on ranges from 25 - 30 percent depending on how dirty they are. If you want a lower average speed than 30%, then you need to do a profile that varies between 20 or 25 and 30% because a moving pump will prevent it from stalling at lower intensities. Even with the pulsing trick, the pump sometimes will still stall at 20, and effectively makes it a 0 to 30 pulse.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

Oh I see. I’ll give 25% a try. Thank you
