    "Read this first - Defer and Min Time statements"

    Hi ...this was very helpful .. the reference manual should be updated to include this .. however, I am confused about the "xxx would be immediate" statements in the examples for how these statement would be used ... especially Min Time example could please clarify? ...thank you

    Min time works like this.

    Min Time 005:00 then ON means that once the outlet turns on, it must stay on for at least 5 minutes regardless of whether the above code would tell it to turn OFF or not. Once that 5 minutes has expired, the code will run as directed as if the line wasn't there.

    You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

    If you're referring to this old thread, I believe there is some information there that is easily misinterpreted. What he is saying is that, with those exact examples, there's nothing to keep OFF from being immediate in the first example, and ON being immediate in the second. However, you can easily read it as saying that, for example, 'Defer 001:00 Then OFF' would be immediate, but this is not the case nor I believe the poster's intent.


    Also, another thing regarding the Min Time command - Some people (myself included) find it easiest to think of this command as reading 'Min Time XXX ON' (omitting the word 'then') when programming with it.
