    Exclamation Net Automatic Restart

I have an apex classic and it is hard wired to the router. Any time the power goes out the apex loses its connection and I have to manually go in to net setup and restart. Is there a way to program the unit to automatically restart after not having a connection after a certain time period?

For example: IF no com then net restart after 5 mins

Something along those lines. Its frustrating that if I am away from the tank or out on vacation that someone would have to physically come over to get the apex back online but doing hard net restart. Would anyone care to shed some light on this?

No, but you could use a UPS on both to alleviate this issue and also be notified of power outages.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

It sounds like your router isn't giving the Apex an IP address fast enough. One thing you could do is try to setup a static IP address for the Apex. Just make sure it's one that is not in the DHCP range of your router.
