    Is this cable corroded in my DDR?

    Does this look like the cable is corroding on the sensor in my DDR?

    Yes. Contact support if it's still within warranty. If it's not, I would clean it and coat the connection point in a generous helping of hot glue or reef safe epoxy.

    You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

    Yup, I had the exact same thing happen, with similar reddish discharge. Is the sensor still functional? When this occurred on one of mine, the sensor had failed in CLOSED status.

    No, it isn’t functional. I discovered it because I started getting alerts and it wasn’t even close to reaching the level sensor. The unit was half full. It was flapping on and off repeatedly.

    The other side does not work at all. It can go completely dry and still the status never changes.
