Different Gyre modes for normal operation and Feed

Today I have two xf250 gyres controlled via two icecap modules. I’m trying to figure out a way to (other then powering the gyres off and having the backup batteries kick in) to run a different program when I’m feeding (during feed mode operation, both pumps running at 20%) then normal operation (BRS-Left and Right Gyre oscillation).

Today I simply have the Feed mode turn the power off to the Gyres which in turn kicks them into battery backup mode (hence running at the preprogrammed 30%). I’d like to have more control over this.

I’m only just now learning about virtual outfputs and am not sure if this is the solution.

    Thanks for the help...

Whenever asking for help with modifications/enhancements to existing programming, please always post that existing programming. This enables the experts here to work with what you have instead of making assumptions or giving general, non-specific suggestions.
Please do not send me PMs with technical questions or requesting assistance - use the forums for Apex help. PM me ONLY if the matter is of a private or personal nature. Thanks.

I thought about how to add additional information and what would be relevant to my question. However, I'm not actually asking for programing review or examples, but more asking what feature or methodology to utilize in order to program the Apex for the desired results. However, I do want to provide whatever helps.

You add these to the advanced tab of the wizard (gear icon) and you define profiles for the pump. Example turn down intensity to 30% for FeedA.

    Profile

    GyreFeed
    Type: ramp
    Ramp time: 1
    Min Intensity: 30
    Max intensity: 30

In the advanced tab add this for feed mode A.

    If FeedA 000 Then GyreFeed

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

Ahh, perfect, I see. So you do use a Profile for this.

    Gotcha, and Thank You

A profile is not needed. Just use If FeedA 000 Then 30. You must have the latest AOS/firmware and n your Apex though to use this new capability to directly specify a percentage value, which is detailed here: https://forum.neptunesystems.com/sho...-5-03-and-4-53
