    Speed vs Percent

I'd like to ask folks opinions here. Would you suggest using the Percent of the COR pump as a control variable or the Speed of the COR pump as the control variable?

    Example:

    Skimmer venturi pump config:

    Fallback OFF
    Set OFF
If Output Cor_6_1 Percent > 40 Then ON
    Defer 005:00 Then ON
    If Skim_1 OPEN Then ON
    If Leak_1 CLOSED Then OFF
    If Leak_2 CLOSED Then OFF

    Versus:

    Fallback OFF
    Set OFF
If Output Cor_6_1 Speed > 40 Then ON
    Defer 005:00 Then ON
    If Skim_1 OPEN Then ON
    If Leak_1 CLOSED Then OFF
    If Leak_2 CLOSED Then OFF

I believe both of these statements will accomplish the goal, but was wondering if there is a suggested preference, and Why.

    Thanks

They are the same thing. ‘Speed’ is an alias of ‘Percent’.
