Question Feed Mode A - Turn on XF250 at a slow speed with ICE CAP wtih Alternating Gyre Mode

I just read another post about doing the same thing when my Feed mode A is pushed have my XF250 move a bit of water around.

    https://forum.neptunesystems.com/sho...ation-and-Feed

I would like to try moving a bit of flow around as I have a large overflow box behind my 250G tank. I would like some code to turn on my XF250 when Feed MOde A is on - I would like to start at some percent and move up as don't want water to and food to go over overflow box

So I use IceCap Gyre Interface Module: Alternating Gyre Mode
I used this programming based on this VID http://blog.coralvue.com/icecap-gyre...ing-gyre-mode/

Programming (I will just show my LEFT side as the Right is the SAME)

    FEED MODE A - 900 Seconds

XF250-L_2_8 (this is the power) Note I have my ICECAP battery backup on this ICE CAP MOD and Gryro
    Fallback ON
    Set ON

XF250-L-SPD (this is my SPEED with profile)
    If Time 10:00 to 23:00 Then SPD_Day_L
    If Time 23:00 to 10:00 Then SPD_Night_L
    If FeedA 000 Then OFF

XF250-L-DIR (this is my Variable Direction)
    If Time 10:00 to 23:00 Then DIR_Day_L
    If Time 23:00 to 10:00 Then DIR_Night_L
    If FeedA 000 Then OFF

Profiles - Let me know if you need to see these

Let me know if you need anything thing else

I set mine on a pump type profile that varies from 20 to 30 percent. With on and off times of 4 seconds. Gives a pretty gentle stream and the ocsillation helps keep food suspended better.

    how

I'm so new to this programming.

plus I'm not sure if I can change it to pump mode as I have advanced for the variable speeds

The profile you define would be pump type (folders icon). Then replace OFF in the feed statement of the speed channel with whatever you name your profile (don't start the name with feed it can cause bugs. I use GyreFeed for the name).

On TIME - How long its on for

    OF TIME - ???

NOT SURE What is the diff between thes

So now I DID THIs and get a sand storm from my gyro - and is 2 seconds or min?

    XF250-R-SPD
    If Time 10:00 to 23:00 Then SPD_Day_R
    If Time 23:00 to 10:00 Then SPD_Night_R
    If FeedA 000 Then GyreFeed

    Profile GyreFeed

    Initial Off TIme - 2
    On Time - 2
    Off Time - 0
    Min INtensity - 20
    MAx Intensity - 30

Assuming everything uploaded properly, then the min/max intensities would need adjustment, but unless your xf250 works grossly different than my xf130, something else has to be amuck. Mine doesn't even turn on below 20%.
