    WAV Flo

    A NEW MEASUREMENT STANDARD

This understanding is here with the WAV and Apex Fusion. Since the WAV constantly communicates with Apex Fusion, it knows exactly how much flow it is producing and logs a new measurement standard we simply call FLO.

This is what is being advertised in Neptune page.

I am specifically looking at "it knows exactly how much flow it is producing"

The question is ... as the pump gets dirty it reduces the flow output but I don't see that reflected in the graphs or logs.

As I clean the pump it notices an increase in flow.

Is there something wrong or Neptune should rephrase the sentence?

    All the best,
    Rui

As far as I am aware it calculates it based on the RPM of the pump. That should show a small effect when the pump gets very dirty but won't tell the whole story because the fluid mechanics change the amount of water pushed out at the same RPM. A dirty pump will see some reduction in RPM, so its kinda a rough half way there.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.
