    Unhappy SV-1 flowing when closed

    Hi,

I use 2 SV-1 connected to my RODI (the exit line has a T connection dividing the water flow to 2 fresh water tanks, the SV-1 are in parallel).

The first is plugged to FMM and the second to 1-LINK.

Both modules switch on and off (I can hear the switch), depending on time and water-level sensors.

My problem is that both SV-1 are still flowing when switch is off (the flow is smaller but still significant).

Both SV-1 are new. Pressure is low.

    Any idea ?

    Thanks,
    Lilian

A small trickle for a minute or two (basically draining what was left in the line past the solenoid) is normal, but if it continually drips, I would contact support.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

Look on the bottom, there is a flow direction.
The pressure from the Ro might be pushing the seat open just enough to let water trickle by.
Not saying you didn't install the correctly, it's just a thought.

Hi zombie & Member No 1,

The SV-1 are installed properly, taking into account the flow direction and the dripping (which is more flowing than dripping) is continually. I will contact support.

    Thanks for help.
