Heater kicking off alarm on apex, what do i do??

    hello all,

i have a 300g MD and 100g sump. i have 2 300 watt titanium heaters and i run one as primary and second kicks on only if temp goes below 76 . when ever it kicks on my apex throws an alarm (audible) but does not show an alarm in fusion..??

i had both heaters on one eb8 on same leg (5 and 6) so i thought i fixed it by moving one heater to outlet 1 but that did not work so i moved it to outlet 1 on a separate eb8 and thought i fixed the issue but the alarm was triggered but again no alarm in fusion.

    three questions:

    1. why is it triggering an alarm?
    2. why do i not get alarm in fusion if there is audible alarm on apex?
    3. how do i fix it?

thank you in advance for help

You probably have a low temp line in the SND_ALM or SND_WNG outlet.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

Check you inputs tab. You might have an alarm there for either temp or wattage that won't show up anywhere but the inputs tab.

Look in the temp probe and the heater watts and amps. Make sure you don't have an alert configured there that is inside your normal range.

temp is good as the temp is well between the low and high, as for the 2 heaters the alerts are set to "never" for both watts and amps

Solved...I called support and they walked me through the issue and turns out that it was my APC that was sounding the alarm, not the apex...
turns out none of the neptune products except the display have a speaker or source to make sound, ok so i am a bit green....lol

now i know and now i need to go split that power up so its not all running through 1 APC
