    T5 control from basement

I just installed a basement sump and moved my apex to the basement also. I was running t5's to supplement my radions and am asking what is the best option for doing that now. A long extension cord seems silly so I will ask the experts.

Extension cord is the safest if you don't know electrical very well and don't want/need another energy bar by the tank. I've seen a couple people run some romex through the wall into a duplex outlet that is powered by an apex outlet, but anything like that has to be up to code or you can get fined and have to tear it out.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.
