Would a Shorted Pump Take Down EB832?

I run my three WAV pumps through 1Link. When a pump shorts out, it temporarily disables the other two. Unplugging the offender and power cycling 1Link restores the others. I'm considering using my 832 to power the WAV instead of 1Link, but before I do I'm wondering what a future pump short would do. Would it affect only the other two pumps or would it shut down the entire 832? I saw a post on R2R from a chap who claims a shorted WAV took out the entire 832. Can any one comment?

It's theoretically possible, but it would take other failures in conjunction. I would put two of your WAV pumps on the 1link and 1 on the EB832 for the best reliability

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.
