APEX users: Please be sure to plug your Neo-Therm into plug 4 or 8.
Why is this???
Heaters are constant resistance devices, so power use can fluctuate depending on what the wall voltage is.
I see no reason to plug a neotherm in outlet 4 or 8. Those should be reserved for low wattage magnetic devices (like pumps) or high amperage devices (above 4A). Not that would only be applicable for classic apex as all the outlets are the same on a eb832.
You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

The electronics do not play nice with TRIACs; they create interference which causes erratic amps readings and inconsistent operation of the heater. There's a thread somewhere on RC from a few years back that has discussion about this.
