Should I use salinity probe to shut off ato outlet?

Right now I have my smart ato plugged into an outlet on the apex because I use kalkwasser and I set up the outlet as a ph controller. I still want that, my high value is 8.44 and low value is 8.3. I would also like the outlet to shutoff if ppt <34.5. Is this recommended? I can’t find any info on it. And I don’t know the code to program it this way either. The peace of mind would be nice because I did have a slow leak before I had an apex and the ato kept filling while water drained out of the tank because the ato never rain 3x longer than normal so it never shut off and emptied almost an entire 5 gallon bucket full of rodi water into the tank. Your thoughts and/or any helpful information would be appreciated. This is my first post btw. Glad to finally be here! Thanks

I would do this code for what you have. The filling from a slow leak is not something that can be solved using a third party ATO. You would need float switches or optical sensors and have the apex do the ATO for something like that.

    Fallback ON
    Set ON
If pH > 8.4 Then OFF
If cond < 34.5 Then OFF
    Min Time 060:00 Then OFF

Thank you that is easy enough. I had a biobellet reactor tip over and push water over the edge of the sump And I just had an A-HA moment too. I thought changing the control type to advanced would wipe the ph control code but it’s still there. Very cool
