    EcoTech Radion Programming

    Hi,
Just got the Radions (G4 Pro's) and finished setting it up. Not very good at programming and need someone to check if I have made any errors.

Basically the Radion's will be programmed by the Reeflink module and thus need my Apex outlet (for the Radion's) to be 'ON' at all times. Except turn off when the temp goes >82 (atleast for 5 hours).

    Fallback ON
    Set ON
If Tmp > 82 Then OFF
    Min Time 5:00 Then OFF

Question... is it better to turn off the Apex outlet for the radions between 9 PM to 9 AM and have it come on/off 15-20 mins before the lights (controlled by the Reeflink module) come back on/off?

    Thanks

PS: will be posting more programming questions as I make more updates/changes. Appreciate feedback on the same.

Just plug them into the wall or use only the fallback ON set ON. The temp line is better used in a virtual outlet that triggers a really dim profile so it reduces the heat load but is still bright enough to clearly see everything in the tank. You can do that like this

    OverTemp
If Temp > 82.0 Then ON
If Temp < 81.5 Then OFF

Define a profile with your desired spectrum at a few percent intensity. Then go the the advanced tab of the wizard (gear icon) and add this

If Output OverTemp = ON Then Dim

His response is not applicable in your case; he missed that you wrote that you are using Reeflink, and not a Neptune WXM and the Apex to fully control your Radions. You cannot use a profile as he suggested.
Please do not send me PMs with technical questions or requesting assistance - use the forums for Apex help. PM me ONLY if the matter is of a private or personal nature. Thanks.

I was trying to understand the programming when updating my Apex today morning. Hopefully can get an updated response from zombie. Thanks Russ.

Then the way you had it is unfortunately the closest you can get to an ideal scenario without a WXM. Honestly, I would sell your reeflink and buy a WXM. Everybody I know with a reeflink hates it because it's quite a bit more finicky than the WXM, costs just as much, and doesnt integrate into the apex.
