Controlling COR-20 and WAV pumps during Feed Mode

    Hi,

I have a pair of WAV pumps along with the COR-20 being the return pump hooked up and controlled by Apex (post 2016 model).

I want to slow down the COR-20 and WAV pumps to 5% of its speed (or lowest possible) for 15 mins.

I would have preferred to turn off the COR-20 when feeding but when setting up the tank/plumbing, I did not get a chance and space to install the check valve to prevent water from draining back. Creates a lot of gurgling sound and raises the lvl of water that then sets off the ATO water sensor alarm and makes the skimmer go crazy ().

So figured slowing it down (COR-20) along with the WAV pumps in the tank is the next best alternative.

How do I go about programming this?

Go to the misc setup (wrench icon) and change feedA duration to 15 minutes. Then go to the advanced tab of the wizard (gear icon) and add these lines.

    Cor add
    If FeedA 000 Then 1

    WAVs add
    If FeedA 000 Then 5

In addition I would advise against the way you have your cor currently programmed. There is no benefit in reducing its intensity at night because it will mess with your ATO and water levels and you need just as much flow through the skimmer and fuge during the day as you do at night (the exception would be a cor used exclusively in a closed loop)

Oh man... I missed that with the COR programming. Thanks for pointing it out. Will make the changes
