New profile won’t turn red in configuration

So I wrote 3 new profiles for my SBReef lights. 2 of the three profiles will turn red when I write them in the configuration. But my one won’t, it remains normal black text. Anyone able to shed some light as to why this is happening? See attached pictures for clarification

    Thanks,

Is does that if you didn't get the name 100% correct including caps. Double check the name.

See that’s what I thought, but if you look at my pics, they are exactly the same. I’ll try renaming them for kicks

When you are entering the coding, and after you type SET (space) then start typing the profile name, do you get a drop down list and if so is BSunDay on the list?

I had it happen a few times where the profile name was black and not red, but Apex took the upload and it worked fine.

I was going to suggest this, but write it all out until you get to the profile name and just type "B" and see what shows up in the drop down. You should see your profile you want and you can just click on it to select it.

I do get the drop down, it just doesn’t display in red like it should.

As long as you get the dropdown and you have tested that the profile activates as it should, it's probably not something to worry about, though I would send an email to support just so they can get some data from you. I have seen that happen to a few people, but have never figured out why or how to fix and in most cases it doesnt affect the programming in any way.

Well I’m not so sure that it is working properly. I tried renaming just fork kicks, same results. I don’t think the programming is working simply because I have it set for time xx:yy then BSun, well it’s showing the light at 64% before the time even starts? In your original post, you have the BSunDay (now named BSun) set for a start of 65% with a finish intensity of 66%. Fusion is showing 64% Try changing the BSun profile to 60% start see if that changes anything.

Is your Apex up to date on firmware?

Try a restart of the Apex, see if that helps.

By chance did you have the profile page and the outlet page open at the same time?

If you edit the profile while you have the outlet page open and then reference the profile it will not turn red, but will still accept the profile when you send the update. The next time the page is refreshed it will turn red, and any refreshed page after where the profile is referenced will turn red.

Correct, I did rename it to BSun, just to see for, if for what ever reason, it would change anything. Which, it did not. So the order in which it should go is BSunRise, BSun, then BSunSet as noted by the times. At that particular time at 0838 my lights shouldn’t be on, let alone st 64% They shouldn’t start ramping up until 0930.

Apex is up to date. I’ll have to restart it when I get home.

No, I had them open at separate times.

Change the SET BSun to SET OFF
There isn't anything telling your lights to turn OFF.
The way you have it will tell the program if it's not running Lines 3, 4, or 5 to run BSun. That is why your lights are on.

That's also why the 2nd BSun is showing up black. It'a a conflict.
