Using standard ATO program, keep getting alarm messages.... ?

    Hi all.

I have just added a Neptune a to system to my tank. Used the “task” manager and added the ATK using the Fmm box, the two optic sensors that comes whit the doser..... so everything is “out of the box” and plug n’ play. I keep getting alarms..... stresses me A LOT.

    So, what’s wrong?

Is it like, I’ll get a alarm every time sw 2 is above or under the water?

    thanks for helping

What code do you have in your alarm outlet? My Apex seems to be offline now but it's called email or something like that

    Add

    Defer 000:30 Then ON
    Defer 000:30 Then OFF

To email_i5 at the end. This filters out this kind of behavior when the water level is right on the edge of covering the high sensor.

Also rename your high sensor and make sure to install the siphon break if your container level is higher than your sump level when full.

Sensors can be renamed in the probe setup page of the classic dashboard.

The email alarm is one of your outputs that is configurable in either the classic dashboard or fusion.

I'm still offline otherwise I'd send you a screenshot but the alarms can be found in fusion. There's is an outlet, mines on the bottom the name starts with email or some version of that. Click into the code on that outlet and there's probably something referencing the switches or ATO in general.

I don't remember how to change switch names. I did mine before fusion, there's probably and easy way. Someone will chime in
