    IceCap XF280 Interface Module

Does anyone know if the XF280 is controllable now? I have 2 XF250 interface modules and found a pair of 280’s for a deal. I would really like to know as I was originally going to by the 280s for my 96”x30”x30” tank but was going to settle for a pair of 250s and some Vortecs that apex controllable.

Thank you Russ. That sucks especially since they have discounted the 250’s.

I just saw these and asked BRS if they did indeed work work with the XF280. They confirmed that it did so I ordered 2. Worst case scenario is I just order another pair of XF250 to add to back of tank.

Did they work with the XF280s? I'm looking to do the same thing.

Unfortunately no. After I received them I noticed BRS had changed the description on their site, again saying they only worked with the 150 and 250’s. I contacted them again and they said they confirmed with CoralVue that the indeed did not work with the 280. To BRS credit though they did offer a full refund for the misinformation that led to the purchase.

Ok, thanks for the info. Guess I'll keep waiting/hoping for ICV6/Apex compatibility.
