i have tried calibrating and using two temp measures to be accurate but nothing.
    turned off and on.
tried different settings any ideas please.

It's either not plugged in all the way or broken.

You've set the temp probe port to read in Celsius, I presume?

A reading of about -6 (Celsius) or 20-22 (Fahrenheit) almost always indicates that the temp probe is not actually connected. Verify that it inserted in the correct jack, and that the locking tab on the temp probe plug clicks and locks in.
