Post Cor 20 and 15 flow variations.

Hello. So I have a COR 20 primary and COR15 back up that both run simultaneously on my tank. Flow from the 20 is about 620 gph and the flow on the 15 is about 350 gph. As you can see from the attached photo of the flow meters they seem to vary in tandem throughout the day.

Anyone seen this? Is this due to power variations?

What’s your plumbing setup ? If they are on similar plumbing it shouldn’t be that different. It takes a lot of head pressure to get cor15 down that low and a very free flowing plumbing for cor20 to hot that high.

On higher head pressure situations they both cap out very closely. My cor15 was running 430GPH and the Cor20 got up to 480GPH 1” hard plumbing on a Red Sea Reefer 525XL

I have optimized the plumbing. The interesting thing is the serpentine type variations which are in sync. Even though they are separate lines to the tank. He cor20 is piped through the Red Sea main return and the COR 15 is a hang over Line.

Can you please post pic of your plumbing. Which Red Sea do you have?

I would love to get to 600+ GPH on my cor20.

Still don't know why they vary together?
