DOS 1Lkink Connection, Aquabus?

To remove some clutter from my setup, I am switching one of my DOS units to the 1LINK connection on an 832. When you connect the DOS via the 1LINK, are the two AquaBus ports on that particular unit still active? Can they be used to expand the AquaBus connection to other modules? The only AquaBus 'input' would be from the 1LINK.

The Aquabus ports are still active and can be used to plug in other modules.
