I've got the AFS programmed and selected feed mode A. I did a test...the feeder operated properly but the feed timer didn't kick in. What am I missing?

If the AFS operated properly when you activated FeedA, then the feed timer did kick in. Please clearly explain what you mean; post the applicable programming, and describe what it is that you expect to happen but does not happen.

I set the AFS to run at a certain time and "assumed" since Feed A was selected it would automatically kick in at the same time too.

Feed Cycles A-D are manually activated; they cannot be activated programmatically. The AFS programming you posted operates the AFS once per day at 11AM. It also programs the AFS output to operate whenever you activate FeedA - which is separate from the schedule operation.

Thanks, I had that all wrong. Is there a way to program a feed timer to start automatically?
