    PM1 and Temp

    Hello all,

Just moved all the equipment from APEX Classic to APEX 2016 ...

Since I did that I can't have the temp probe connected to PM1 without fluctuating a lot.

I have calibrated the temp sensor and ... calibrate to 25.6 which is the temperature in the tank and immediately it reports 26 ... then goes to 23 ... then to 25. It does not stay accurate.

Also having some strange alarms ...

    Date: 2018-07-02 11:54:23 +0100
    Status: ON
    Statement: If T_FRAG < 23.9 Then ON (24.6)

The alarm should only go off if temperature is bellow 23.9 but actually @24.6 I am getting a fusion alarm.

    Any tips?

    All the best,
    Rui

If you use a different temp probe does it follow the probe or the PM1? Most likely dirty connector, something like lint in the jack, or a bent pin.

Is T_Frag the temp probe on the PM1?

Yes Russ. T_Frag is the temperature probe in the frag tank. Then I have T_Sump which is the temperature probe in the SUMP.

Writing the above sentence ... could it be a naming problem since both start with the same letters?

    All the best,
    Rui

Naming is fine; that will not cause variations in the readings.
