Alarm on and I can't get it to stop

I shut down a tank that had a temp probe and a PH probe and I disconnected them from the controller and I deleted it from the send warning box. I also went into the classic dashboard and disabled them both and then restarted the system twice but the alarm will not go away. Please help, its driving me and the dogs crazy.

To get the alarm to stop I had to re-install the probes, enable them and put them into another tank.

What is the proper to disable and uninstall the probes so the alarm won't go off? It shouldn't be that hard.

You need to delete the alarm from your email code and disable the probe if you aren't using it.

Hi, I deleted the code for the temp probe from "send Warning" and "send email", disabled the temp probe in the classic dashboard and physically removed them from the controller. I also turned off the heater associated with that temp probe but the alarm would not stop. Sounds like i did what you said, does it matter in what order you turn things off.

Didnt catch that it was a sound not an email at first. Make sure you also delete any temp lines from SndAlm.

I did, I think it has something to do with the order I did it in. I removed the probes from the controller before I removed the software so the system went into alarm and wouldn't change because the probes were missing. If not that I don't know what cause the alarm to sound and not stop no matter what I did.
