I've tried to reset and I think I made it worse I'm sitting here trying to connect to my Apex controller and it's not connecting. She right now it's just an expensive power bar.

You gotta provide more information than that for us to be of any help to you. Unless we know exactly what you tried and what went wrong, we have no idea what the potential solutions are.

I held the reset button to reset the machine to do a fresh install to try to hook it up to my new network and it will not work. I need someone to walk me through to reset it to factory settings so I can start new. I got to be missing a step somewhere.
99% of the time it is the unit not getting an IP address from your router. Or it is getting an IP address but it is not the one that you expected. Eliminate all variables if possible. Can you plug the apex directly into your router? Can you connect then? If yes, start working backwards to eliminate the issue.

OK will try that

Also remember that the hostname apex.local only works on a PC or MAC. Android does not support hostnames and requires the ip address to be entered.
