Missing "Set Trigger Value" box in temp probe configuration

    Hi,

I'm not receiving temp alarms. Under the "basic" tab" I unchecked the "use recommended values" box and entered my desired parameters under the "Advanced" tab. Sent to Fusion. Doesn't work. This is on 2 different probes in 2 different tanks. All of my other probes use the recommended values and I'm receiving alarms appropriately.

In the startup guide it states that I should have a "Set trigger value" box to check. I don't have that in my Fusion.

    User's guide illustration:

I programmed the email alarm VO as a workaround but curious about this.

    THanks,

    Cindy

The check-boxes and dual sliders have been replaced with the Alarm drop-down menu and a single slider control - instead of the check-boxes, you now can choose between four options:

    • Never (no alarms)
    • When Outside Range
    • When Below Minimum (low alarm only, no high alarm)
    • When Above Maximum (high alarm only, no low alarm)

If you have "When Outside Range selected", that single slider will have two handles; the left one sets the Min, the right one sets the Max.
Please do not send me PMs with technical questions or requesting assistance - use the forums for Apex help. PM me ONLY if the matter is of a private or personal nature. Thanks.

As you can see in the screenshot above mine should be set correctly then. Where do I begin troubleshooting? There are no additional parameters set in my email alarms.

Using those does not add anything to the email alarm. Those alerts are a separate system.

So how do I get it to send me an alert? As you can see above, I have it set to send alerts when outside the range. But Apex isn't sending them.

Pull the temp probe out of the tank and see if it gives you a low temp alarm.
