Cor 20 suction tube size, pump sucking air.

so I seem to be having an issue with the cor-20 sucking air. How much water do you guys keep your pumps in? I was thinking of putting in a length of pipe with slots cut in the bottom to suck water from the bottom but can find the right size pipe. It’s not 1.5 or 1.25”.

anyone know what adaptor I need?

The COR intake is 1.5"; it has BSPP threads, so the 1.5" PVC fittings from a hardware/home improvement store here in the US will not fit.

Describe your setup - a pic would be great. How deep is the water?
