Angry WAVs cause EB832 to reset loop after stall

My wavs stalled so i cleaned them and then power reset the eb8 which should have brought them back up right away but instead it caused the system to just turn on and off in a constant loop. If I unplug the wavs from the eb8 everything boots fine. If I boot then plug them in they are not detected. Anyone seen anything like this?

Nope, but make sure your module firmware are up to date. It wouldn't hurt to reseat the impeller and cables to make sure everything is clear.

Yeah that is part of my cleaning. Firmware is up to date but would not be able to update even if they weren't.

Today I tried using a 1 link module. The module was detected right away and I updated the firmware. However the WAVs were not detected.

    How old are your WAVs?

Probably right around 1 year. It must be some kind of short or something because if I remove the usb from the 1 link and only power it from the 24v plug the 1 link light looks good but dies as soon as I plug one of the WAVs in.

Please do not send me PMs with technical questions or requesting assistance - use the forums for Apex help. PM me ONLY if the matter is of a private or personal nature. Thanks.

    Submit a ticket. Immediately.

The point being......folks (I just lost two WAVs) have been having issues with durability post two years or so. You are still in the warranty stage. Submit a ticket tonight.
