I need help setting up an alert and decided to reach out to the pros; after spending the last 4 hours researching....
I flooded my office because I left my RODI unit on to top off tank. Had an ATK in the box for a couple months and just was lazy to hook it up In either case, now I hooked it up and am paranoid to get it right. I have 4 optical sensors, 2 hooked up to the ATK and 2 on my RODI reservoir tank, my low position sensor on my reservoir tank goes from open to closed quickly at random times. I fixed this by deferring fill and alert for 5 min but it made me not trust the optical sensors... The back up for overfill is the float valve on the ATK but there is nothing "That I know of" for the low level sensor of the ATK if it gets stuck in the closed position. I have 2 CORE 20s and I assume they will alert me/turn off if they run dry.
So to make a long story short; I would like to set up an alert for my low level ATK sensor. If it gets stuck in the closed position for say, 360 minutes, I would like to get an alert. That to me, would mean the sensor went bad and my tank is running low.
