    I "inherited an Apex jr.

I got an Apex jr from my brother in law. I have the Energy bar, Aqua controller and the PM1 and PM2 modules and probes. I have been reading through all the online documentation which seems very detailed and informative, but layed out for a new install. My concern is that I most likely will need to do a reset of the system first and probably a firmware update.
Can someone please point me in the right direction or better yet a simple walk through for restarting a used Apex Jr.

    Thanks in advance

Make sure your brother in law removed the apex from his fusion account, then do an initialize all from the display.
