Progaming WEATHER for A/I Hydra 26 connected Via AWM

I would like to attempt to program my 2 A/I Hydra 26s to use weather.

I just read the AWM manual. It was written before FUSION. I currently have my lights set using FUSION. So I require help in adding weather settings.

The easiest way is to just check the cloud and or lightning checkbox in fusion, but that doesnt allow any customization. For more user control, create a virtual outlet with the conditions you want to trigger the weather event.

Ex trigger clouds using a somewhat random OSC statement only when the lights percentage is above 70 and the DOW is not Tuesday or Thursday

StartCloud
OSC 000:00/015:00/041:24 Then ON
If Output LightName Percent < 70 Then OFF
If DOW --T-T-- Then OFF

Set the weather event profile how you want, and in the advanced tab

If Output StartCloud = ON Then profilename

Thanks. I don’t know why but I didn’t even notice the cloud and lighting boxes in FUSION.

If I select clouds for a time period, dose FUSION randomly select periods of time or is it cloudy for the entire time period every day?

It uses 20% intensity during cloud periods, cloudy 50% of the time, and high probability of lightning (if lightning is enabled) for the time period those boxes are checked.

Thanks again. I’ll give it a try. Unfortunately it’s hot here today and FUSION just switched on my sump fan and turned off the lights.

I would recommend changing your logic on that front. Rather than turning them off completely, create a profile that dims them and use the temp line to trigger the profile rather than turning them off entirely. If your lights are not in an enclosed canopy, I wouldn't even bother dimming since the contribution from the lights is less than 10% of current wattage without a canopy and between 20-50% of wattage in an enclosed canopy (depends on a lot of factors).
