    AI Prime Freshwater support?

Hello guys, I was wondering if anyone knows, if the AI Prime HD Freshwaters are supported with this method? As Radion Freshwaters are not.

Has anyone tried them? And does this control method work with the new Apex Jrs?

The new controller is called the ApexEL, not Apex Jr.

The IOTA/AI capability works with both the Apex and ApexEL.

So it doesnt work with the JR? There is a new version of the JR as well I thought, they changed the color, they changed the parts, that isnt a new version?

The newest controller, which started shipping last week, is not an Apex Jr - it is the ApexEL. The Apex Jr is part of the older generation of Apex models, collectively known as Apex Classics.

    Oh okay, got you.

I had read soemwhere that the AI works with all 2016+ models, which is why I was confused, I must have read it wrong.

That is correct - the new AI light support is available in the two newest Apex models - the Apex introduced in 2016 and the new one introduced last week.

The Apex Jr, Apex Lite, and Apex Classic (previously known as Apex) are part of the "Classic Generation"

The newer models of apex known as the Apex 2016 or the new Apex EL are part of the "Apex 2016 generation"

The 2016 refers to model generation not manufacture date.
