After changing a name of one of my outlets, I'm no longer able to manually control the state of the outlet and set to ON or OFF from my computer connected to the apex network or from Fusion. The outlet name does show up but after I move the slider to ON or OFF it returns to the previous state.
I am able to change the state of the outlet manually from my local display module (which also shows the new name.
I've rebooted my router and the apex system, but still no luck.
Any ideas?
If I change the name back to the original name, the outlet seems to work fine again. Looks like the Apex system gets confused when you change the name of an outlet.. Has anyone else seen this issue? Is there a way around this problem. Would be nice to be able to change the outlet name...
Found the problem. The new name I had created had a "&" character in it. No error was given, but this causes a problem. Manual does state to stay away from special chars, but would be nice for the compiler to check this.
